Quayside Art Gallery
Quayside Art Gallery is a beautiful, historic gallery located in the center of downtown. The gallery features local artists from Pensacola and the surrounding area. Three floors of unique and magnificent pieces makes Quayside a must-see destination for art lovers. The works of over 75 local artists cover every wall of the gallery, fully immersing viewers in the artistic experience.
The gallery is divided into sections, each with a different theme or style of art.
The first floor displays local art that is changed out every five weeks to display new pieces. This floor contains works in a variety of mediums for all art tastes.
The East Gallery often displays themed art shows, portraying the diversity within art.
The second floor, also known as the art print lover’s haven, provides prints for prospective buyers ranging from drawings to gorgeous watercolor depictions.
The third floor celebrates individual artists, in which each featured artist has their own section.
Artel Gallery
This gorgeous, signature building in Pensacola also contains beautiful works of art for all to enjoy! Artel Gallery is a museum-style art gallery in the heart of downtown that fosters an appreciation for art through its unique displays and art-related events. This gallery challenges artists to follow themes and appreciates the experimentalism within the art community. Artel is a non-profit art gallery.
A current exhibit for the month of October is the Fabulous Forgeries exhibit, displaying recreations of famous paintings with each artist’s unique twist on the original.
The pieces in the main gallery are often changed according to theme, but some pieces permanently reside within the gallery. This location is perfect for casual viewing, purchasing, and even submitting art to be viewed.
Blue Morning Gallery
Blue Morning Gallery is known for its breathtaking and affordable art to purchase downtown. The gallery promotes itself as a fun fine art gallery; this reputation was met upon visiting this location! The gallery is located in the historic Palafox Place downtown and is a local art co-operative.
The gallery includes the works of over 60 local artists with a range of various art styles and formats. These pieces are affordable purchases to add to a personal art collection.
Blue Morning Gallery also participates in local events such as Gallery Night, a monthly display of art and other creations for the entirety of Downtown Pensacola. The current event, displayed through the end of October, is entitled Monochrome. Monochrome is an exhibition of black and white photography, including the photography of local artists.
